The Cobra concept is an idea for a streetlight with LED lighting that uses the most of renewable energy sources. Compared to traditional streetlamps, its use is positive both for energy saving and for the reduction of operating costs of the system. The shape of the top of the streetlamp is designed so that a photovoltaic panel of about 1.5 square meters can be placed on a large upper extrados surface, while LED sources are distributed on the lower intrados face. In another version we have placed a wind turbine blade with a rotor 600 mm in diameter allowing to accumulate energy from the wind even in the absence of light.
