The approach taken in designing the cutlery service for the Finnish company Hackman was to imagine that kitchen utensils could and should be a natural extension of arms and hands, to generate more confidence and ease of use. The particular sinuosity and harmony of the lines is added to the lightness conferred by the hollow handle. In order to obtain maximum ergonomics, several tests were carried out with fresh clay, which was held with the hand to impress the shape of the grip.
